Illegal Immigration
Now that more than half of Mexicans living in Mexico agree with the United States and its "illegal immigration" policy, Liberal heads are figuratively exploding.
Honestly, I never saw this coming. Mexico is actually seeing things as they actually are. This is an invasion. I believe it was when the immigrants in this "so-called" caravan turned down asylum offered by the generous Mexican government.
Let it be known that there are sincere people in this "caravan" that have the best intentions and were bamboozled. And this goes to those "cavaneers": that's right, it's unfortunate, but there are LEGAL ports of entry; a legal process to go through -- a lengthy process but it's all worth it in the end. Ask any American citizen. Even the ones that bitch and complain... even so, realize that one day, you'll be able to go to any street corner and stand on soap box and do the same thing. God Bless America!
I pity for the child whose mother or legal guardian has agreed that her and her child are to be used as human shields for the rest of the immigrants who are mostly males in their twenties and thirties. Hoping to get media attention, these women are claiming asylum to escape hardships in their own country.
Whether it's crime, economic hardship, abuse, &c. the United States is to determine whose eligible after a background check on their current status from the country they're leaving (if applicable). Entering this country illegally is a crime; it's against the law and should be treated a such. In my opinion, it should be made law that any individual caught in this country illegally will be deported and will never be eligible to apply for citizenship. If caught a second time, a mandatory sentence of 3 years, third time should be a life sentence.
There should be no birth-right citizenship. This law has been exploited and should only apply to those whose parents; mother and father is currently going through the legal process in becoming an American citizen. Immigrants who fall into this category may also be eligible for special programs and/or benefits depending on financial status.
